Raised on the west coast I now make my home in the heart of horse country, Gainesville, Texas, raising cattle, dogs, and horses as well as my family.

A horseman all my life I am still active in the competition and officiation of major APHA and AQHA  events. 

Now persuing the other loves of my life, I would like to take this opportunity to share this lifestyle and inspire others through art!

I have been a gourd artist for 15 years, I also do bronze sculpture and a variety of other mixed media.

Many pieces reflect the western flair or my passion for the spiritual southwest. Some pay respect to mother nature herself! 

Others honor the  "SPIRIT of THE WOMAN" and all they endure and contribute to the lives of others in this tough envirorment. Hence the name of my studio, La Mujer is spanish for

"the  "Woman"
